Abstract
Hedonis is a view of life that considers happiness in being able to seek as many pleasures as possible and avoids feelings that are painful or unpleasant to him. Slowly it becomes prevalent, as the assumption that pleasure is to be obtained and exhibited as a form of existence and self-actualization. This study aims to determine the influence of self-actualisation of hedonistic lifestyles. The subjects of the study were students at SMA Darut Taqwa Purwosari, 51 males and 72 women. The collection of data used in this research uses a self-actualization scale and hedonis lifestyle scale, while sampling techniques use the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Calculation of the lifestyle scale hedonistic validity of 0,36 to 0,71 as many as 32 items with a reliability of 0,98 and a self-actualisation scale obtained the validity of 0,32 to 0,72 as many as 36 items with the results of reliability 0,89. The correlation results use the statistics of analysis regression and obtained rxy for 0,5281 greater than the R tab 1% = 0,1562. Thus the hypothesis is acceptable where self-actualisation affects the hedonical lifestyle significantly. keyword: lifestyles, hedonistic, self-actualisation.
