Abstract

Kitab Al-Ajurumiyah is a book that explains Arabic grammar. This book used the Qiyasiyah method, which is very commonly used in Islamic boarding schools or Madrasah Diniyah. This study aims to determine the implementation of the inductive approach in learning Matan Al-Ajurumiyah and the constraints of the inductive approach in learning Matan Al-Ajurumiyah. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative and this type of research is a case study. The research location is at Madrasah Diniyah Roudlotul Hikmah Randupitu Gempol Pasuruan. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. There are three data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique uses extended observations and triangulation. Data analysis techniques are reduction, display, and concluding. The results of the research from the implementation of inductive approach in learning Matan Al-Ajurumiyah, starting with Ustadz writing sample sentences, then students compiling the answers, then Ustadz offering to students who wanted to answer, after students answered then Ustadz commented on the right or wrong answers well as explaining the material studied. Constraints experienced are lack of motivation and interest in learning, some students lack confidence, and are afraid of being wrong
